School Visits

Team China had a great day visiting their sister schools in Suzhou. This entry was taken from the Camp Hill blog.

You know when we have school assembly on Monday afternoon and everyone just ambles in and sits down in straight’ish kind of lines and there’s a bit of chatter and not everyone is always facing the front……….. AND there’s only 360 students??
Well………we attended a school assembly this morning at Fung Doh Primary School and there were 2000 students who all stood in straight lines, didn’t make a sound and every one of them was facing the front – looking at us (along with Kangaroo Flat P.S)!

Amazing and even our bigger schools would feel small in China.

Day 4 Planning Museum/ Eira a Circus

We hope you are having fun reading the blog and we are enjoying your comments. So keep them coming. Everyone is working hard at sharing our stories with families through the Team China blog. The internet is slow here and it has been challenging to keep regular updates coming on the blog around our very busy timetable. Teachers and kids will continue to keep you informed through the blog, skypes, emails and text messages. We hope you are enjoying the photos and stories of our travels- we are!

Today we went to the Planning Museum. It gave us a real sense of the scale of Shanghai. We had to cancel our trip to the Jing’an Temple as it has been a very wet day and we are all very excited as we get ready to head off to the Eira Circus!image
